With it's very special floating pontoon stretching out into a lily-filled lake, the Carreglwyd Estate is a dream location for a truly magical wedding.
Dating back to 1634, the handsome Grade I listed house sits sympathetically amongst acres of enchanting forest, where carefully hewn and maintained paths lead to breathtaking views of the beautiful Anglesey coastline.
The venue boasts several locations to host all the aspects of your nuptials, including a renovated barn for a reception of up to 120 and converted stables that offer stylish accommodation, and with space to add a marquee too, there's so much to work with.

Why we love this venue
- The backdrop of the main house, the sweeping lawns and the beautiful lake make this location the ideal canvas for your perfect day.
- Couple this with the myriad options for ceremony spots and romantic first photographs, and this venue is hard to beat.
- The owners are experts in hosting, as the estate has been home to several festivals and pop-up events over the years, and this shows in the ease with which the whole estate can be brought to life for an event with lighting and decoration.

Words from the owner
"The location is like no other place you will have been, like something out of a fairy tale, if we say so ourselves! There’s a beautiful phrase in the native Welsh language of this land, ‘Dod ol at Fy Nghoed'. It translates as ‘coming back to my trees’, but in it’s deeper meaning, carries something like, ‘returning to a balanced state of mind’. That seems particularly appropriate for us at Carreglwyd, it is a truly calming place, folded into the landscape with a view that inspires a deep contented breath, around every turn."
